Uniq Tablets II help to handle external logistics processes

A major manufacturing company in the automotive industry, SaarGummi Slovakia, manufactures rubber seals for automobiles. The company uses tablets from the Uniq Tablet II series.

Our tablets currently serve them to handle external logistics processes, such as importing materials and packaging and the loading of prepared products. They help to ensure the smooth movement of trucks that come to the company’s premises.

How does it work in practice?

In practice, it looks like this: an incoming trucker reports the import/removal of material or products using a kiosk and then waits in line with others. Warehouse workers call a specific truck to the company via a tablet according to the type of process and registration time in terms of FIFO. Although, in exceptional cases, the truck may be preferred according to the set priority by the logistics manager.

Thanks to our devices, warehouse workers monitor the time that the truck is already spending outside. They see how much time it has spent indoors loading and finally confirm its departure.
